TERMS & CONDITIONS
All sales are subject to the following terms and conditions. No other
conditions shall apply unless agreed in writing prior to placing an order.
PRICES
A.C.Medical Ltd. attempt to keep prices stable throughout the life of
the catalogue. However, the right is reserved to alter prices without prior
notice and to
charge the current amount at the time of dispatch. All prices quoted exclude
VAT @ current
rate.
PAYMENT
All mail orders must be accompanied with a cheque or credit / debit
card details unless an account has been opened. Accounts must be settled within
seven days
from receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed by us, e.g. BACS. Orders by
telephone can be paid for by credit or debit card or invoiced if an account
is already
agreed.
Goods remain the property of A.C.Medical Ltd. until payment has been received
in full. (This includes the clearance of cheques).
Please note, statements are reminders for overdue accounts.
DEBT COLLECTION COSTS AND BANK CHARGES INCURRED DUE TO FAULT OF PAYER WILL
BE ADDED TO OVERDUE ACCOUNTS IF NECESSARY.
DISCOUNTS
All goods which have already been discounted from the manufacturers RRP, heavy goods such as patient chairs, workstations etc where A.C. Medical is covering the carriage costs and all Huntleigh equipment will not qualify for the payment with order discount scheme. This list is not exhaustive.
CARRIAGE
All goods over the value of FIFTY POUNDS (£50), EXCLUDING VAT will be delivered
free of charge to UK mainland only unless otherwise stated. All orders under £50.00,
exc. VAT, will carry a charge of £5 + VAT for postage packing and handling. (This rate applies to internet orders only. All orders received by phone, fax or e-mail must reach the value of £85 +VAT for free carriage).
All orders to be delivered outside of the UK mainland (including all offshore islands) and some highland areas will be charged at cost.
A.C.Medical Ltd. endeavours to supply goods for next day delivery for orders
placed before 1pm, Monday - Thursday subject to stock availability. However,
please allow
3 working days before advising us of non-receipt of an order or telephone to
check on despatch information.We will normally advise you if there is any problem
regarding stock.
CLAIMS
All claims for shortages or damaged goods must be made within seven days
from receipt of delivery.
NON-RECEIPT
All claims for non-receipt of goods must be made as soon as possible
and within seven working days of placing the order unless we have notified
you that there
will be a delay in delivery.
DELIVERY
A.C. Medical Ltd. will endeavour to dispatch all orders received by 1pm
on the same day and will generally advise you if a delay is expected. * A.C.
Medical Ltd. accepts no responsibility or liability for any kind of failure
to deliver
goods within
times quoted due to reasons beyond it?s control. We also reserve the right
to supply orders in partial shipments and invoice these shipments separately.
(This will not affect free delivery on internet orders over £50+VAT).

RETURNS
A.C. Medical Ltd. is a licensed wholesale dealer, wholesale license No.
WL/17167/1, under the medicines act for supply of pharmaceuticals. A condition
of the license
states that pharmaceuticals which have been outside the controlled conditions
of our premises for more than three days cannot be returned to stock. Returned
pharmaceutical goods will only be accepted for the following reasons:
To correct an error in
delivery or ordering. In response to a product or batch recall instigated by
the manufacturer.
Where products are alleged
to be faulty or damaged. N.B. Items returned for any other reason may be subject
to a "re-stocking" charge.
All other goods listed in catalogue must be returned within 14 days of purchase
in perfect, unused condition for a full refund or exchange. We regret that
goods obtained through our "product request" facility can not be returned
unless previously agreed by ourselves.
LOCAL ANAESTHETICS
M.C.A. regulations stipulate that we must receive confirmation
of a practitioners recognised qualifications in the use of local anaesthetics
before such goods
can be supplied. Please ensure you have the details available when ordering.
